Most aquatic mosses are about the same color... the color can vary though depending on lighting, co2 injection, etc.
 
no. Java moss does not "root". You can tie it to rocks and put the rocks on the sand...
 
If you mean root in the sand and spread out, none. Aquatic mosses won't do that.

They will attach to very porous solids like driftwood after several months of being attached... but aquatic mosses are generally tied to an object in the aquarium using fishing line, rubber bands, or thread.
 
I got this pic off Google ...how do they get there moss to root on the floor ?
