New Starter

Hello everyone.

I have a 15 gallon tank ready supplied with heater/light and filter.

I have a few questions.

I was thinking of adding 8 plants to the tank but I currently only have a 15 watt bulb so only have 1wpg. Will this be adequate and I also run an air curtain at the rear of the tank for 12 hours a day. Will this affect the usage of my Tetra Co2 Optimat?
