Nitrate levels for planted tanks?

What is the ideal nitrate level for a planted tank?

Or where do you guys try to keep yours?

A minimum of 10ppm is needed. I try to keep mine at least at that level. If not, it's off to dosing I go.

Ideally it should be between 10-20ppm. I try to run mine closer to 20ppm since the uptake rate is so high and I don't want to have to dose on a daily basis.

10-20ppm, with phosphates at a 1:10 ratio to the nitrates.

i.e. 15ppm nitrate, 1.5ppm phosphate.
