noob question about plants!

hi i just received my plant package today and some of these plants are unknown to me.
how do i plant them without roots? cause i don't see any on some of these...

i think they are called hygro.

Most hygro species establish quickly in a healthy environment so just stick the stem in your substrate and it should produce roots fairly quick, assuming your tank provides said environment.

ohhh okay! thats what i did cause i didn't want them floating haha.
also um when i put them in the tank. i was doing water change and i just put them in the water that i took out and just tossed them in the tank. is that fine? =o
