Yesterday I removed all my Hygrophila difformis and Aponogeton's to make room for some plants I have coming in the mail.

Today I removed a lot of my Asian ambulia because it just looked bad. (note: do not continually trim a stem plant at the top or it will only be bushy at the top, duh.) I replanted it so it will be bushy all the way up, instead of just at the top.

After removed a good portion of my plant biomass, my other plants are just loving it, so I just had to show you. (I'm sure the algae is liking it also  )

Look how cloudy the water is. LOL. Notice the water surface!

Just a closer shoot. Can you say simmering.

This is a common milfoil. I have never seen it like this before. I read about someone else removing Hygrophila difformis and seeing great results also.

The underside of the leaves on my Ludwigia repens are filled with O2.

I think Brazilian pennywort shows pearling the best.

Just thought you guys/gals would enjoy something to look at. Randy.

Nice. Your l. repens has got a serious algae thing going on :D

My pennywort is also the quickest to pearl... Awesome plant.

What is that plant behind your pennywort in the last photo?
