thxs
these are dwarf Gouramis that lived together in same tank in the shop.
i will have to closely monitor nitrite/nitrate the following weeks..... not sure that a month waiting is enough time.
i do have good quantity of ceramics in filter but ....

What size tank is that? And even if they lived in th same tank and stuff still doesn't mean the males won't be aggressive. Just keep an eye out..very nice setup though!

38G tank.
ok will put an eye on the Gouramis
there are plenty of places for everyone to hide from trouble makers :)

Are those angelfish? They will eat the neons as they mature and I'm pretty sure they are more aggressive then the gourami's. But beautiful tank great job. :)

My bad! Scalars are angelfish. Wow lol ya learn something new everyday. :)

I didn't even notice the angels..and 5, wow. Hmm..

small angel fish can be inserted to big neon tetra.

they don't consider them as food.

That does seem a bit cramped with the stocking list to me as well.

Absolutely love the aquascaping though

You will run into problems when the fish mature, most certainly from the angels and probably from the gouramis as well.

When the angels pair off for mating they will start to shred each other to pieces. It would be advisable to keep just 1 male and 1 female in a tank that size.

The gouramis can also get pretty rough on each other as well. Keeping 1 male to 1 or 2 females seems to be the safest route to keeping them.

a few more photos now that my CO2 system is in place.

you are right about the Gouramis . two males are a bit aggressive from time to time. there is plenty of plants to hide so it will be survival of the fittest
