I just purchased an Ozelot sword, or at least that I was told.
Looks like an amazon sword, but with the leaves a little wider and with some black dots....

My question is if this plant will make it good in my tank?

I have a fully cycled 100G tank, with two 48" T5H bulbs, both white with 10,000 K
I keep the lights on for 5 hours a day, no CO2 and I used plant tablets. No excel or any other supplement.
Substrate is pool filter sand, temperature 78 degrees.

Thanks!

Lights are more than good enough for the ozelot sword. The root tabs is also good, for this plant is a heavy root feeder. If you start seeing signs of deficiency, you might need to start dosing ferts.

You can split your photo period. 4hours on, 4 off, 4 on, 12 off. Thats what I've been doing since I had an algae problem. Algae's at the minimum ever since.

What fert do you recommend? Im not familiar at all with ferts....
Right now the plant looks good, I'm asking just in case..

Thanks:D

Seachem flourish or Tetra Flora-pride should be fine.
