The other night I did a water change on my 75 gal. and about 2 hrs later I'm looking at my plants noticing LOTS of air bubbles on them or under the leaves. I couldn't figure out how this happened as I do not have co2 so I googled it. I read that can come from a water change. I was so excited that they did that. Yesterday after work ran home and NOPE it was gone. I wanted to do another water change to see it again but I didn't. Has anyone else seen this in their tanks. :fish1:

Its called false pearling, usually occurs when cooler, Oxygen rich water is introduced.

This usually happens to my tanks after PWCs. I didn't know there was a name for it though. Thanks Brookster.

Did a WC today and the plants were pearly like mad, does it every time. Tomorrow it will have stopped as the extra oxygen in the fresh water is depleted. Looks good for a day though ?.
