My 5.5g needs plants. That's pretty much it, I have some Pygmy chains in there as well as a piece of DW, but I need it planted. I don't want any high light plants, it has a 15w light over it with play sand.

I just want some suggestions on what you all think I should add.

Just a little more info for you:
I am going to put 3 betta coccina in there
I have rotala rotundifolia, java ferns, bacopa monnieri and some moss hanging around that I could use.
And here's a picture:

Thanks!

All of the plants you listed would probably do fine.

Consider some lilaeopsis - it might do ok with that lighting and is a nice compact plant for a 5.5.

I also like anubias nana petite for a medium light small tank. It is a slow grower but neat compact plant. You could also look at some of the smaller crypt species.

I agree with the nana petite recommendation. I'd also advise to do some floaters with b. coccina, even if you regularly need to remove some to provide light for the other plants they will appreciate the cover. Very cool fish. I'm looking forward to watching this tank evolve.
