plant bulbs of the same time growing differently

Ok so I got a pack of bulbs from my lfs and there growing differently 1 is shooting up tall and the other is staying short in bushy. Which 1 is growing the correct way? And why is the other one growing wroung? I'm referring to the to plants in front one is in the center and one is on the right hand side

Looks like 2 aponogeton plants. The leaves wlll always out compete each other and try to reach the top first for more light. You can train it to stay low and compact by trimming the tall leaves off. Each time a new runner leave comes out that reaches above the other ones, just trim it.

You also have floating plants that could be shading it. I think the corner gets less light than the middle.
