Plant buying?

Heat packs and plants are usually a big no-no. They are fine as long as they aren't frozen (why they keep flowers and veg in refrigerators at retail stores), but purposely raising the temp is usually a bad thing.

That said I have used heat packs along with plants to really cold areas (used to doing this for fish shipments) but have really shy-ed away from it for the aforementioned reasons.

I used to really love sweetaquatics, but they are no longer in business. One thing about many online stores is they really get you on shipping because they either use UPS/FedEx or they have some sort of minimums or markups on actual shipping rates. Example, aquariumplants only allows 2nd day or overnight UPS shipping. They coax people to spend more by offering discounts on shipping for large purchases.
