Plant id

The plant in the pic is a Selaginella species (clubmoss). Is a terrestrial plant, as many people have already said.

It's a gorgeous creeping club moss, but in a terrarium.

The "variant" picture of the Wisteria is labeled "emerged" which means that it is in it above water form. After being placed into a tank, the original (and now unsuited to the new environment) leaves die off. But with decent to better conditions in the tank, new leaves in the more familiar "submered" form appear, and all is once again well in the world!
 
Saltiefresh is spot on with the ID. it is one of the Selaginella varieties and a terrestrial, not sure how long it will survive submersed.

Thanks for the wealth of information everyone. I have a few fish that like to munch on it so I'm going to leave it in for the time being. I'll pull it before it starts to break down and mess up the water.
