Not sure of the name but it is not truly aquatic. Will rot and foul your tank with time.
 
I believe it's some sort of Dracaena, it's not aquatic. Best to remove it and pot it.

Well you can believe us or the pet store, but it's not aquatic.
 
It definately looks like a white ribbon plant to me... And if you bought it at Petsmart, thats what it is...
 
White ribbon plants are semi-aquatic, sorry! If the leaves remain entirely submerged for too long, they will start to rot.

Your best bet is to either remove it completely, or place it somehow so that the majority of the leaves are out of the water. These plants look great in tanks that are half land, half water!
