I found this plant in a local lake, it appears to be a Sagittaria. But can someone give a positive ID? It was growing in about one foot of water.

I think is pearl weed but please correct me if I wrong.
 
that looks exactly like the sag that I used to keep in my tank. Not sure about the pearl weed as I have no experience with it.
 
Thanks for the responds skywhitney, Do you know what can of sag that you had in your tank?

Also does anyone know what the second plant is?
 
Here's a pic of my "dwarf sag" it gets around 10 inches long? Not sure what you got there but it looks like mine a bit.

No, I don't think it dwarf. I have dwarf sag growing in the foreground of the picture. The leaves of the mystery sag are about half an inch, while the dwarf's leaves are about a fourth of an inch.
When I collected it was growing in about a foot of water in a spring feed lake.

Maybe, I guess to know for sure I need to wait for it grow out.


Also any one have an ideas on what the second plant is? or growing care for it?
It grows well emersed but I haven't had much luck with It submersed.

I believe that is "giant sag" giant sage does get up to 10 inches and looks exactly like yours....

To the OP your first pic is with out a doubt dwarf sag
