Plant ID and propagation advice

HI all. Could someone ID these for me? I am looking to split them somehow but do not know how. There seem to be roots growing out of the stalk at places. They are starting to take over my tank and I would like to put some in my new tank setup. (There is a lot more than seen in this pic!)

It looks like ludwigia palustris, but I am not too sure. Some pics I found look like this but others look way different.
 
Hard to tell. I think its a type of Hygrophila. You can just cut the stems anywhere and replant them to propagate. Just ignore the roots coming out of the stems....or cut them off if they bother you.
 
look like green hygro aka Hygrophila polysperma which i think is on the fed noxious weed list.
