so i just got a new 55 gl freshwater tank, i have granite as my gravel, and i am building a cave out of flat pieces of granite, i am wanting to do a concave setup with pants to the cave i will try and add some pictures

what kind of lighting do you have?

well i have just a regular lighting system that came with the tank, i really would like to have some moss covered on the bottom, i will try and post some pics, thanks for the intrest

i doubt you'll be able to grow anything with the stock lighting, especially if its just the two 15w bulbs that generally come with a 55g... thats less than .5wpg.

I would agree a lighting upgrade would be needed. You could try various types of anubias or java fern
