How much light do you have? Wisteria might be just what you're looking for if you have the light for it.

Bushy eh? I say wisteria. Or, since gouramis are labryrinth(sp?) breathers and hang out near the top of the tank alot, hornwort. It creates a really nice place for cover when it grows all around the surface:)

Don't they need to be planted on stuff or can I just put it in the sand

I put my java fern right in the sand gravel mix I have with some root tabs. Also the same with the Anubias. Some of the Anubias I glued to rocks and driftwood.

Ok I will do that

Check out some of my photos. You can see the Anubias glued to the driftwood and rocks. Just get the gel kind that dries clear and your set.

Good luck.

Watersprite. can be planted or left floating. Great for labyrinth breathers as it gives them somewhere to put their bubbles. Also soaks up excess nitrates like a sponge
