Plant noob

I have a well established tank set up but have recently put in some new plants, some are doing well others just really look the same my question is can I grow these plants without having a soil substrate ? I have aquasky led and well stocked tank also do not dose any fertz

Plants are : elodia densa
Cryptocorne wendti green
Eleocharis (acicularis mini

I think for the elodea densa you can float it, and it'll grow quite fast. For the other one I don't know about it.
