hey guys, i recently introduced some new plants to my aquarium, and the look good, except i noticed that where the leaves were torn, or ripped a bit, the ends turned to slime basically. Im not sure if i should just remove those leaves? or is there something wrong with my water. Thanks

Remove those leaves.

That can happen if there is not enough lighting to support the plants, so that is something you may want to look at.

I removed them, I had just put them in last night, so it had been less the 24 hours... if my light was low, would it begin to show this quickly?

nope, sounds like it was an issue they came in with. You did good by removing them.

right now i have only 13 watts on the tank...its 15 gallon...is that enough? The plants are: 1 floating watersprite, 1 spiralis and 2 broad leaf ludwigia
