Hello all,

I am going to start up a 20 gallon hexagon tank. It's the SeaClear version of a 20 gal that I purchased online through PetCo. I'll attach a link for viewing...

I have never raised live plants before, and would appreciate any tips from anyone, and suggestions for plants that would do well in a taller tank. I'll be using flourescent lighting for the tank, and plan to inhabit it with two cory cats, various tetras/or platies. Thank you so much! I really like the benefits from live plants, and I hope that this works out fine. Thank you!

if you don't plan to upgrade the lighting, stick to java fern, java moss, anubias bartari, certain low-light crypts (lutea, wenditii, retrospiralis, affinis), and possibly hornwort and anachris.
