Planted Tank without fish

To clarify

Every time I change my water from my 55g I find some ammonia and nitrate, would putting that water in there be same as having the nutrients from the fish?

If there's no fish or inverts in there it wont hurt anything, but its easier and more precise to dose ferts directly.

Flourish ( comp) are ferts
Root tabs are slow release ferts that you bury in the substrate. I use both. But not Flourish Excel. ( Carbon). Plants love Excel, but I lost Shrimp so I avoid it.

Flourish N may be needed later.

You can get them all online if needed.

Moss isn't a root feeder and doesn't need it. I use liquid ferts for my Mosses and Ferns and Root tabs for my Crypts, Swords and some stem plants. Since I don't know what your "random" plants are I threw in the Root tabs as a possibility.
