I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank and was wondering what kind of plants do you guys have any suggestions

Incandescent full hood lights

First your going to have to switch fluorescents, whether they're compact or strip.

Since your hood take incandescence, I would just get compact fluorescents instead of getting a new hood. You can get these bulbs basically anywhere (walmart, home depot, lowes)

I don't think any, I think they just want ideas

Hmm, no ferts/co2 greatly limits your plant options to things like Java fern, mosses, Anubias and crypts.
