Hi guys!
I am wondering which plant I can grow in this light. I made this light using led stripes.

I am going to put two gbr and some small tetras and maybe some snails.

Lights appear to be very blu-ish.
Do you have any specs of the LEDs you used (wattage, color, etc)?

Personlly I dont have one nor do I know much about them but if you have a pond and would like to contribute by being a moderator of the outdoor pond forum please private message me or e-mail me.

Color looks 10,000+ K. Plants generally tend to grow best in 6500k, not to say it won't work tho. It's worth trying.
 
Yes, not trying to dissuade you from using it. Just trying to find more info. IMO the blue has a "cold" appearance.
Also, that quote in post #6 is from 2002...weird.

I just bought package of low light plants. Hope I can keep them alive.

Those all look good except the hair grass might struggle without intense lighting and co2.
