My lfs swore it's true aquatic but had no name to give me of course. It's the only plant not thriving in my tank and that puts it on the suspect list. Help please!

It is hard to tell from the picture but it does look like a sword. If that is the case then I would try putting some root tabs under the substrate for it. Swords are heavy root feeders and seem to wither away without tabs. I feed mine (marble and amazon) two tabs every couple months.
 
+1 for the sword ID. Looking at your "My Tanks" link, I'm going to assume you've got good lighting, so I'll second the root tab recommendation.
 
Added root tabs 2 days ago per yall's advice, small sword pictured is alreDy seeing a great improvement. Thanks folks!
