Pothos in aquariums???

So I came across an article stating that Pothos (house plant) can be used in fish tanks!!! What? I have this growing all over my house. Some immersed. Is this true? If it's poisonous to cats and dogs, wouldn't that make it poisonous to fish? Does anyone have any experience? Thanks.

I don't have experience with pothos with its roots in the tank but if you search for "pothos" using the Search function you will find many posts about it. I skimmed through several and not once was toxicity to aquatic life mentioned.

I've seen lots of pothos rooted in hob filters and have not heard any negatives
