I've really wanted a plant in my aquarium for the longest time now. I wanted a plant because 1. It helps maintain water quality 2. My betta will probably love it. But the only thing is, I don't really have easy access to aquatic plants. The closest I can get is a pothos plant and that probably can't be fully submerged; which brings me to my question. Are there any other plants commonly sold in stores that are fully aquatic, and can I grow a pothos plant completely submerged?
Sidenote: When I first put in a cutting of pothos hanging over the side of mt aquarium, my betta was curious and sort of tried to nibble on the stem. Is he ok? Is it toxic?
