Propagating watersprite?

Can someone give me some tips on propagating water sprite?

I have the floating water sprite, not sure if that's what you have but mine grow new plants off of the exsiting leaves. I have to throw out 2 or 3 a week because if I let them go they take over the whole tank. Last summer I just let them go because I was gone so much. this fall I pulled a 5 gallon bucket full out. Crazy.
