purigen in planted tank?

I don't mind a little stain, I would just like mine to sink!!! It's been soaking for 2 months and boiled 3 times. Finally just decided to pile it in there and stack rocks on it!

Lol. I know what you mean- my favourite piece of bogwood was boiled repeatedly and soaked for weeks without sinking. In the end I stuck it in the tank with an 8kg dumbbell holding it down. It became quite the talking point! I kid you not- that dumbbell was in there for MONTHS!
