questino about canister filter as co2 reactor

I remember seeing posts about some brand of canister filters are better co2 reactors than others because gas doesn't get stuck in the filter.

I did a search but couldn't find such posts. Can someone direct me to them; or could you tell me your good and bad experience?

thanks a lot.

I used my Eheim as a CO2 reactor for a while. Never had any problems with it.

I use a Filstar XP2 and a XP3 for my reactors and they work great. Some filters might get air locked, but supposedly the XP's have an anti-air-lock feature. I've not had any problems with mine.

I used Magnum, and now Fluval 205 for my 29gal, both dumped out big chunk of gas regularly.
