I was looking to get Cabomba caroliniana for my 55 gallon tank. I was told at a small mom and pop shop that it was pretty easy to care for as long as you use the right lights and the right liquid fertilizer. I was told that it is not necessary to have CO2 with it.

Does anyone have any experience with this plant, and does anyone on the forums sell it?

I have had it in two of my tanks. It did good in high light. I've always dosed at least excel if not DIY co2.

I've got a T5HO and use both flourish and flourish excel.

You should be great. Space between leaf sets is an indicator of adequate/insufficient light. Also, if leaves fall off without reason it should be another tell tale of nutrient deficiency or lack of light.
