Quick gravel question

I am beginning to think I need a little more gravel in my tank to help hold some of the "stuff" down better. Is it ok to buy a bag and just rinse it completely and add it in a cup at a time with fish in there? Will it screw stuff up? Or do I need to take the fish out to do this, because I can live and "they" can live with it the way it is now, just seems a lot more practical to add some more

yeah its fine to do it that way.

It'll be fine. I've completely changed gravel to sand and back again, both times the fish were still in there so you shouldn't have any problems, as long as you wash the gravel thoroughly, otherwise it could get messy
