Yeah but I mean what are some aquatic or semi-aquatic animals that are rare for people to keep?

There's a short list of native fish that would work depending on tank size/setup.

I'm not looking for native species other than salamanders. I think if I can't catch a cool salamander I will end up with an axolotl. I think they are unique, awesome, and they seem to be predatory, which I like.
