Rescape Questions

1. I'm leaving the fish in, does stirring up gravel affect fish or water quality?

2. Does putting plants in bucket, with water, for a day or 2 affect them? We ship plants out of water so I'm thinking it's ok.

1. If you don't normally gravel vac there could be some water quality issues like excess detritus floating around. Fish shouldn't have any problems.

2. Don't see any problem with leaving them in water.

IMO, I would do it one of two ways. Do a WC w/ gravel vac to get as much out first then rescape, and another WC immediately following OR stir everything up first and remove water/detritus as you go.

Thanks. So far I've gotten my substrate the way I want and am going to do a WC prior to putting plants back in. Fish seem fine, just wanted some reassurance.
