seachem flourite
I want to change the substrate for my planted tank. I live in dubai and here I can get only seachem flourite black substrate. There are two kinds of substrate available seachem flourite black and flourite black sand. which of these is best suited for plants tank. I have 60 gallons tank with diy co2. Thanks.

They both suck.. sorry.. I've used both, the gravel looks gray, aweful frankly, under strong lighting and the sand is more like a fine clay, impossible to wash.. I set up my tank and ran out the get regular black sand to cap the flourite mix.. it would be fine as the lower level substrate.. can you get black sand to cap??
