This is my first ever planted tank. It was setup this Sunday.

Just planted my newest tank yesterday. Needs time to grow in alot. Is "supposed" to be a Dutch scaped tank when plants grow in.

What type or sword is that in the middle? Tall one? It looks exactly like the sword I used to have and never got an ID on...

I'm not sure either! I was just told Amazon Sword and that doesn't really help since there are so many varieties out there.

Try and picture it without the bulky black filter to the right as it will be removed once the aquaclear 20 builds up its BB. The neons will be going in my 20 in the future when I get my 2 dwarf puffers at a later date. Going to be adding more plants once I remove that filter.

Not quite sure if I'm going to keep that java fern in there too especially the one on the right. Need to find something smaller to replace it.

the one with half white half sand is my 29 gallon tank with an angelfish, 5 otos, and 5 Amano shrimp which by the way do work on my drift wood.

the other tank is very new with 2 25 watt compact florescent bulbs. In the very front is Dwarf baby tears that kept on dieing, so I decided to invest in a co2 system and now I see so much new growth in just a few days. hoping it will make a carpet but I am going to hopefully get a new light. the inhabitants are 7 ghost shrimp (five of them have eggs), and a beautiful male halfmoon double tail betta he is almost a turquoiseishcolor but he looks good.

What fish do you have in there ?

I have 3 neons and 1 gold tetra (which honestly just looks like an albino neon), I actually took the beta out so he's with me at school now. But I also have 2 kuhli loaches, 5 RCS and a tiger nerite in there.

What type of sand is that. It looks sweet!

Here are a few of mine. The 10g is just a fry tank with a huge amazon sword that I'm trying to get rid of, but I think it looks pretty sweet
