South Florida Plants

Hello All,

I live in South Florida and there are an abundance of fresh water plants in our canals, lakes, etc.

I have a fresh water tank and was wondering if anyone just grabbed a handful of whatever and put it in their tank and what the outcome was or might be....

Any feedback?
