Putting together a 120 gallon tank. I want to have it planted. With micro swords, red magenta, a congo fern, maybe some baby tears and some other things but here is the question. I AM going to put Pictus cats in the tank what substrate should I use and I am leary of co2 as i don't want to inadvertantly kill my fish. What is the best way to go? Will fertalized substrate hurt bottom feeder?
