Substrate change

Hello thinking of doing substrate change to some thing more natural looking but need some Ideas. I have a ten gallon tank with gravel substrate. I'm still pretty new to this have had this tank setup for a while now it's cycled and it has fish in It too. Any ideas would be great.

PFS is pretty natural looking. Since you said planted, another option would be something like flourite, floramax, eco complete, etc... or a mix of some. I have PFS over the potting soil in my 125 and a mix of flourite and floramax in my 40.

I use either black gravel or ecocomplete in my tanks. I like the look of both,

I think eco complete is a good idea I like the look and how it makes other colors pop so I'll most likely go with that and it will be better for the plants too
