Surface Film and Agitation

Not too bad, still have a slight look but nothing like it was. My tank did a "U" turn and I had bad BBA outbreak. I changed my bulbs, changed my CO2 cartidge and performed a 50% water change; all this did help. I did get a surface skimmer which I still need to install. There appears to be a slight dead spot inbetween my filters where water does move but very slowly. I think if I add the surface skimmer there, it will help surface movement; and water movement as well. I did start dosing on alternate days between micro and macro too. Reading back, I did a lot, lol. Thanks for asking.

Sounds like you have it mostly gone. A little bit of film in a corner isn't that unusual in my experience. You may just have high iron or something else in your tap water that reacts with your ferts. I'm interested to hear if your surface skimmer effects your co2 level or not. Let us know how it turns out.
