Yeah, caught that near the end. Also entered erroneous samples for gfink on high light (did not clear CF from previous entry) and Anonymous on Low-moderate light... please clear I think I got all of it.

Thanks, didn't really do any formatting, just basic output. no sense getting excessively ""pretty", besides I prefer functional. anything anyone can think of that it would be nice to see?

I posted my 55 and 75 on the survey and it showed me I had med-high light.

Have you guys figured out how accurate this is? I'm still reading the 1st thread that directs you to this one so I might find the answer on my own.

The reason I'm asking is my 75 is medium planted and dosed with macro and micros and no co2 of any kind. I have a furry type algae growing on my plants, had it on my ornament but its since died off.

The 75 only has a few amazons and I only dose micros. The only algae on it is gsa on the glass and a few leaves.Which I think is either low phosphates or lack of co2.

Since the survey shows the 55 as more wpg then the 75 does shouldn't there be more algae in the 55?

Also is this amount of light forcing me into CO2 injection?

Both of your tanks are right on the edge of low-moderate light. Co2 would definately be a good thing..

gsa AFAIK is related to low/no phosphates.

furry type algae (hair or beard algae) is typically associated with Co2/light imbalance.. there are others here that know more on the direct cause of this algae.. I've had it and upgrading to presurized Co2 w/ controller killed it all off..

Thanks.

I just started dosing fleet yesterday in both tanks to raise the phosphates.

I will also be adding excel when the shipment gets here probably Thursday.

I have another thread where I'm asking questions so I'll stop posting here and just ask/answer there. here is the thread.
