Tanins, pH and Lighting
Well my tanks have some plants that need the lighting, primrose, limnophila aromatica and pearlweed. I want to find some driftwood, specifically malaysian because I want the tanins to try and breed my BN. I know I don't "need" it but I think it will help. I want to try it anyway.
The question is, how much does this effect the amount of light the plants will get? I have about 33 watts of NO flourescent over a 10 gallon tank so medium light.
Also, will this effect my pH? No real big deal but I want it above 7.0 and it sits right there now if not a little above.
