Hello, the TDS level from my tap water is at 80ppm, but in my planted 100gallons with 9 small discus the level is at 400ppm, what can cause the TDS to go up ?? Thank you

I've only used TDS to measure the quality of my DI filter and tap water. Never used it to measure TDS in tanks, its probably picking up a number of things as aqua chem said.

"It's everything in the water that's not actually water. It includes hardness, alkalinity, cyanuric acid, chlorides, bromides, sulfates, silicates, and all manner of organic compounds."
