What's up with the needle valve? I just got all my Aquatek stuff in and am waiting for the cylinder. Are you using yours on a timer?

The knob is really flimsy feeling and its either too much flow or not enough, maybe im just used to having a knob for working pressure along with a needle valve but Im not a fan of theirs. I love the rest of it though. It is on a timer so It doesnt matter too much, though when I came home yesterday the co2 wasnt coming out, so today I increased it some and by the time I got home it was still going but less than I had set it in the morning. maybe my tank is starting to get low

Yeah in the beginning i found i had to periodically (more than i wanted to) try to fine-tune it between 1 and 2 bps because it would just stop flowing on any random day. Now both seem to be staying at the setting i left them at. It's weird.. But they work now.

Well I'm retired so I'm home most of the time so I'll just watch it, a lot! Tomorrow I'm going to 'attempt' to get my set up.

Maybe there's a break in period or something haha, I'm sure ill get it figured out. It's not a bad regulator by any means, I'm happy with my purchase.

J I'm excited for you! I think once you get it set up you're really going to like having some co2 in your tank.

Hello all!
I haven't been on AA very much lately, nothing crazy going on with my tanks and life through me a curve ball, but after doing a water change on the 36 I realized how much the tank has progressed and how much I really like this tank. So after staring at the tank for a bit I wanted to give all of you an update. Nothing has changed with the stock, still 5 highfin black/spotted something or other corydoras, 4 beautiful chocolate gouramis, a amazing red/blue/black doubletail betta, and about 12-14 harlequin rasboras. Plants are pogostemon stellata, java fern, corkscrew/jungle val, and blyxa japonica. The blyxa I got from Peabody's Paradise and it came in as absolute mush, not even recognizable by any means. I love peabody's paradise, don't get me wrong, he even sent me a new order free of charge and came in the same way haha, all of the other plants I got from him have been great quality. Anyway I managed to save 2 leafless pieces of it and buried it in the tank just to give it a shot.. Well it seems to like my tank apparently! I added the color led strips from costco for night viewing and am enjoying the t5ho/ray2 combo, and the aquatek regulator has been dead on accurate the entire time. Anyway, enough rambling and time for some pictures. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Oh, and here's some pictures of the led strips. The first one if just the strips on white, the last two are colors by themselves, and the rest are the ray2/led strips combo that I like because it looks like a sunset haha

Very nice tank! Is there another link to view the time lapse videos? They are apparently no longer available on youtube. I just noticed this thread today and would like a chance to see them :)
