Tiny Snails?

I don't have a pic because they're too small. I have a few of these teeny little snails, and can only see them from the underside, when they're attached to the glass. They seem shaped like a periwinkle - that is, a flattish disk with a snail body fully underneath it. The shell is white or clear and they only seem to get to about 1-2mm long. They're definitely snails, because I can see their little mouths going up and down on the glass like a snail does, and the foot moving around. What are they?
 
They are limpets. Really cool little critters. I had them in a couple tanks for awhile and really enjoyed watching them. Haven't seen them lately unfortunately.
