After 30 minutes of having to fix my fluval 405 canister filter my tank was extremely cloudy and dirty from the filter shooting it back into the tank. My question is should I be concerned about my fish because it is most likely stressing my fish out? Is there anyway to reduce their stress during this because I rather not lose any fish

I wouldn't worry about it. You just dislodged some of the silt that had gathered in your filter. You fish shouldn't really care about it at all, and it should settle in a few hours to a day.

Same thing happens with mine fluval 305. It doesn't harm the fish.
