My corkscrew val has been turning scarlet. Any idea why? It's in 2 in of floramax with fertilizers (leaf zone) 3x a week. 5.4 wpg of T5HO and 5 bps co2. The val is still alive and looks pretty cool, but only one plant is turning colors. The entire plant is red, not just the tips.

I've read that certain plants will turn red if they are getting really good light. Is a good thing for them, hope so here to

Iron makes some turn red but it's a good thing means it's very healthy

Nope, Vals are only in the front left corner, not under light.

Some vals will turn red under high light, although sometimes this can mean a nitrate deficiency too.

Hmm seems like I'll be going with a deficiency. My ferts are taking forever to come in
