Yeah, in the experiment Tom used RO water that had been gassed off for 48 hours and still got pearling during a water change. That's why his theory is its caused by plants being exposed to open air. However, plants that stay submerged still pearl as well. Hmm. It's a mystery...

All I was trying to do was lower my nitrates. Plus I quit dosing flourish b/c I was doing so many water changes.
