| Water Sprite... My water sprite is to the surface, and would like to replant some more. What's the best way to propagate water sprite?

| Does it have any little plants along the edges of the older leaves? Mine get tons of little plants along the edges that soon grow roots and then can be planted. Both my floating and rooted water sprite do this. Water sprite is a fern, so it won't produce seeds, and I doubt it would like being pruned and replanted. |

| Mine's to the surface and then some, lol. I don't see little plantlets, or roots. But a little further down the main stem I see a big wad of roots, lol.

| we may not be talking about the same plant.....maybe you have wisteria? Looks kinda similar. Do you have a picture? If it's wisteria then you can just trim it and replant the tops. My water sprite doesn't get anywhere near the surface. I'll see if I have any pictures of mine. |

| It was sold to me as Water Sprite, and also says Water Sprite on my receipt that came with the plants.
First pic is after the last time i chopped it down, as it was so full of algae at the time.
Second pic is a closer view of the leaves that I could find.

| The first couple of pics look like Wisteria. A close-up shot of that last pic would be great... |

| Most of those pics are real old, as you can see I have dwarf hairgrass in there, and it's pretty much been removed. Was back when I started the tank. will get more pics when I get home from work tonight. Got to get running here.

| Looks like Wisteria/H. difformis here as well, in which case you can chop it up or whatever you want and it will grow and propogate. I've thought I've ditched that plant at least twice now, but still have it. Travis has left an inch or two bare stem in his tank to see what would happen, and it grew up.
