Well tested the water after almost a week after a water change an dunno why my alkalinity is so low now.

Nitrates- 15
Nitrites- 0
Hardness- 130
Alkalinity- 35
Ph- 7

What could be causing this an how should I fix it?

How are you testing? I'm assuming all of these values are in ppm?

What was the value prior to the water change?

Hello Panda...

If you're like most of us and keep fish from the local pet store, you don't need to worry about the hardness, acidity or any of the chemistry stuff. The vast majority of pet store fish will be fine in the vast majority of tap water sources. Just treat the tap water with a product like Seachem's "Safe" or a similar brand and remove and replace most of the tank water weekly. An aggressive water change routine will maintain steady water conditions. This is all the fish need to be healthy.
