Water Troubles

Hi all,
I have a quick question; after rebuilding my 55g tank I have done many PWC’s and my tap water normally runs with a dKH of about 6. When I tested the water last night I had a dKH of 2. My GH was also really low compared to the normal from my tap. I have not used any DI water for any of the PWC’s. Any ideas as to why my numbers are so low?

Did you retest your tap? What type of substrate do you have? Any driftwood?

I will be retesting the tap water tonight. I have PFS as the substrate and I do have a small piece of drift wood but it was from before I tore down the tank, so it has been in the tank a total of 8 months. All of the tannins should be out of it by now I would think.
